Forward er en specialdesignet mixed reality-app til Forward Festival 2020 i byerne München, Wien, Berlin og Hamborg. App'en er brugernes digitale øje og afslører mangfoldigt designet indhold på festivalens spillesteder og i Forwards trykte magasin. Brugere har også mulighed for, ikke kun at se mixed reality-indhold, men til at skabe og interagere gennem appen med nyt indhold i form af rumlige tags og bidrage med disse til en større kollaborativ mixed reality-skulptur. Forward forbedrer og udvider brugernes fysiske tilstedeværelse på festivalen og videre.
